Coinsource rolls out Spanish-first bitcoin ATMs

Coinsource, America’s leading provider of Bitcoin ATMs (BTMs), has announced the launch of Coinsource Primero en Español, the company’s Spanish-language first BTM initiative. Coinsource is the first BTM provider in the US to launch Spanish-first kiosks.

Sheffield Clark, CEO of Coinsource, said, “We are delighted to be the first Bitcoin ATM company providing a Spanish-first offering to the Spanish speaking population living in the United States. Spanish is the second most spoken language in the US, with over 40 million everyday speakers. Our aim with this launch is to drive inclusiveness of crypto amongst this expanding group of users.”

The rollout will begin in Portland, Maine, which will see the immediate launch of the first Coinsource Primero en Español kiosks, followed closely by Massachusetts, Texas, and California. In the following months more Coinsource Primero en Español kiosks will launch across the country, with a focus on providing access to cryptocurrencies to key Latino markets across the U.S.

With thousands of kiosks in the U.S, Coinsource has BTMs within a 15 minute drive of 80% of the U.S. population. In 2020, Coinsource hit unprecedented levels of growth, increasing the number of BTMs it had in place across the country by over 300%, well ahead of the overall industry growth in the same period. In total, Coinsource operates in 45 U.S. States and Washington, D.C. and holds 19 state licenses. Coinsource is committed to licensing and compliance in every state in which it operates.

Rodrigo Bezanilla, Latin American Business Strategist at Coinsource, said, “Coinsource is leading the way in making crypto as accessible as possible for our customers across the US, no matter what their background. The launch of our Spanish-first machines shows the complete dedication of Coinsource to the important Latino marketplace. Bitcoin is designed for global use, and Coinsource Primero en Español is the first step on the journey to ensuring that this is realized to its full potential.”
