Halton police are investigating following the theft of a Bitcoin ATM from the Zway Quick Mart in Burlington on Monday, March 28.
At around 3:40 a.m., two men approached the 1035 Brant St., convenience store and pried open the front door, police said.
The intruders reportedly stole a Bitcoin ATM, which allows people to buy and sell the cryptocurrency.
It is unclear how much money was inside the machine.
The suspects were seen driving a white four-door SUV.
The first man is described as white, wearing a black ball cap and black hoodie.
The second individual wore camo pants and a black hoodie.
Police are also looking for the suspect responsible for stealing sheets of metal from Central High School on Friday, March 25.
At 8:45 p.m., a man approached the 1433 Baldwin St., school and pried the locks off three storage containers on the property, police said.
The individual reportedly removed multiple sheets of metal from inside these containers and loaded them onto a white, four-door pickup truck, which then left the area.
The theft was not discovered until after the weekend.
The suspect is described as white with an average build.
He wore dark clothing.
